Annie
Shuppy is a second-year reporter for The Daily Iowan.
She is a 2002 graduate of Muscatine High School.
Shuppy’s
short-term goals include finding a summer reporting internship,
but she would ultimately like to work at a big-city newspaper
or magazine or attend law school. When Shuppy breaks free
of the newsroom, she attends ballet classes and gets sunburned
at Hawkeye football games.
Politics has
been a long-time interest of Shuppy’s, but after a
summer on the politics beat, she is currently honing her
skills as the DI’s courts reporter. She is
thrilled to be part of such an exciting and historically
significant event as the 2004 Iowa caucuses.
