Johan
is from Sweden and working towards a journalism degree to
pursue one of his goals to work as a foreign correspondent
stationed in the U.S., the Middle East or Europe.
He
is currently freelancing for a Swedish local newspaper covering
national events as well as cultural differences from his
native Sweden. During the summer of 2003 he worked as a
metro-reporter for The Daily Iowan.
Eventually he
plans to advance his education to be able to seek a career
in the foreign services, preferably as a diplomat or a political
advisor.
He is also a
member of the University of Iowa’s men’s tennis
team. Johan has a great interest in music, having played
the guitar for 10 years.
